New Silversea Executives Named to Luxury Cruise Line

As reported earlier this week, David Morris Marilyn Conroy, and Tim Rand have left Silversea. Today the company announced two new executive appointments:

Kenneth W. Watson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer—Previously an executive in Regent Seven Seas' marketing and sales department, Mr. Watson officially joined Silversea on April 2. He will oversee worldwide sales and marketing and spearhead departments including revenue management and performance, reservations, air/sea, and guest relations. He will report directly to Silversea president and CEO Amerigo Perasso.

Fabio Agostini, Vice President and Chief Information Officer—Mr. Agostini was tapped for his expertise in information technology. He'll report to Alvarino Biasotti, Silversea's financial controller.

President/CEO Amerigo Perasso had this to say about the appointments:
"I'm delighted to anounce these appointments. These will help consolidate the corporate organizational structure and enhance our ability to meet new business challenges and ultimately our long-term strategic goals."
